The Holidays are here and I have a special treat for you! You know I’m all about keeping things simple, and while this isn’t entirely related to health and fitness, it’s going to help keep your Holidays simple and stress free! How? Let me show you 🙂
It’s that time again! The most wonderful time of the year! Don’t be caught unprepared for that fitness lover in your life! There are a MULTITUDE of fitness gifts for your runner, or yogi, or clean eater and this list makes it easy to find a gift for each one.
As we all know, it’s gonna be May tomorrow (yes, I’m picturing Justin Timberlake’s face as well). And what starts in May? WEDDING SEASON! I don’t know about you, but I love every aspect of weddings – getting all pretty, watching two people in love say their vows, cocktail hour snacks, gorgeous decor, delicious dinner, cake (duh!), dancing, and the booze too! Wedding season is the best! But what’s not the best? Not feeling confident in your dress…
Well, thank goodness I’m here to help!
I LOVE holidays! Any holiday really, doesn’t matter which one! I mean, who doesn’t? Holidays are the best because they typically involve food and family. And that’s a win-win in my book. But how many people go overboard with food on the holidays?? Slowly, silently raising my hand…
When it comes to Easter, my family typically has ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, candy, cheesecake, beer, wine, and bunch of other delicious stuff that is SUPER healthy for you (insert sarcasm here)! All of those things are so tempting, and who wants to forgo any of it because they’re on a diet, or are trying to stay healthy? Where’s the fun in that? I want to be able to eat all those things and not feel guilty about it, and I think you SHOULD be able to eat those things and not feel guilty about it. Now I’m not condoning eating Easter candy every single day for a month straight, but I do think if you deprive yourself all the time, you’re bound to have problems.
So what can you do to have a guilt free Easter?
