So this page is going to be updated constantly with my FAVORITE resources! Many of them will be fitness related, but there will also be some about blogging. Why? Well, this is a blog… And if you want to start your own, it helps to know what others are using and love!
ACE – as you might already know, I’m an ACE certified personal trainer and I have to say, it was one of my best decisions! ACE is very well known and established and the program is laid out extremely well! There are tons of options and courses and help resources. If you’re looking to become a personal trainer, or a group trainer, or anything else, I highly recommend ACE!
FitBit – you can see my whole rave on Fitbits in this post here, but I truly believe fitness trackers are so helpful and beneficial in one’s fitness journey. There are so many options and features that I’m sure you’ll find something you like!
Treadmill – Owning a treadmill is NOT NECESSARY! Let me repeat that – owning a treadmill is NOT NECESSARY! This is Just Keep it Simple Fitness. So in all honesty, all you need is your body, a set of dumbbells, and a jump rope (see why on this post here!). But if you WANT a treadmill (we have one because I enjoy running as my cardio choice), then I recommend this one. There’s a billion options out there. Pick one you feel is right for you.
Tailwind – this is my NUMBER one blogging tool! I’m literally obsessed. It has saved me SO much time on Pinterest! You can go in and pin however many pins you want per day and it will schedule them for you!!! Plus, it will tell you the optimal time to pin! I spend about 1-2 hours on Sunday pinning for the entire week. Then I don’t have to worry about it! That’s my kind of tool! You can try it out free before purchasing it too, which is nice because I like to know what I’m getting into before I spend money on it. It’s $12.99 a month, or if you purchase the entire year it comes out to $9.99 a month (who doesn’t love a deal??). Here’s my referral link!
Bluehost – So if you don’t know much about how to start a blog, just google it. And there will be INFORMATION OVERLOAD! Which I actually enjoy because I’m a researcher (I think it’s the engineering nerd in me!). But basically you need a place to host your site. That’s what bluehost is! I started with it and haven’t thought twice about it. Which is good! It’s super easy to set up, and the support was great. I also haven’t had any issues with my site (sweet!). Maybe when I hit it big, I’ll run into some problems (fingers crossed that happens!).
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing – this course is HIGHLY advertised and people LOVE it. I did a lot of my own research on affiliate marketing prior to taking the course, and because of that, I was slightly disappointed in it. The course is about $200 but every once in awhile discounts are offered (I’ll let you know when that happens!). The reason I’m offering this even though I’m not sold on the course, is because YOU might love it. It might really help you like it’s helped so many others! If you don’t know anything about affiliate marketing and where to start, and you don’t have time to spend hours and hours researching, then this course makes sense (see what I did there?!). It’s chock full of good information, and how to implement. But I haven’t seen a huge spike in affiliate marketing since taking the course. Don’t mean to be a Debbie downer, but I want to be honest with you. Here’s how to purchase the course!
Moms Can Code – This is a really unique NEW business! It’s all about teaching Mom’s how to code! Such a valuable skill that I need to brush up on from my college years! Please go check out their website and if you want, sign up to be a level 1 or level 2 member! I was approached on Instagram by MMC to create a workout for those who sit at a desk all day long (which a lot of coders do!). And I was super excited to accept this opportunity! You can purchase the workout as soon as it’s complete! I’ll let you know when it’s done! It’s not intense like some of the workouts I share on the blog, but there are 3 different circuits you can do throughout your day, at your desk, and even sitting in your chair! Because sitting all day long is not great for your overall health! Check it out 🙂
