Where have overnight oats been all my life?!  And how am I just now discovering them?!  These banana chocolate chip overnight oats are literally the BEST breakfast ever!  Okay, so maybe they don’t beat out cinnamon rolls, but for a healthy option, these things are in a league of their own!  If you’re like me and have never heard of this unreal breakfast until now, or you’ve seen them around but haven’t ever given them a shot, or maybe you’re an overnight oats junkie looking for another option, you HAVE to try them out!

Get Wedding Season Ready (in four weeks!)

As we all know, it’s gonna be May tomorrow (yes, I’m picturing Justin Timberlake’s face as well).  And what starts in May?  WEDDING SEASON!  I don’t know about you, but I love every aspect of weddings – getting all pretty, watching two people in love say their vows, cocktail hour snacks, gorgeous decor, delicious dinner, cake (duh!), dancing, and the booze too!  Wedding season is the best!  But what’s not the best?  Not feeling confident in your dress…

How I Changed My Whole Week In One Sunday Afternoon

If you’re looking to eat healthy, stay on track for your diet, or really just make your life simpler, then meal prep is for you! Especially if you have a little one in the house, meal prep is DEFINITELY for you! By spending just a few hours on Sunday, I’m able to make all of my breakfasts and lunches for the entire week! It honestly makes the week so much smoother, and helps me stick to healthy options. When I find myself starving at work before lunch, I’m able to grab a quick, prepared snack rather than something I’ll regret from the vending machine. If I didn’t have a six month old, having all my breakfasts made would mean I get to sleep in a little bit longer… but what is sleep when you have kids???

How to Stay Healthy and Shop at Aldi (While Saving Money!)

First of all, if you’ve never been to an Aldi, GO! – right now, I mean it.  You are seriously missing out.  But before you toss your phone in your pocket and head out the door, there’s a few things to know:

  1. Bring a quarter if you want to use a shopping cart.  Seems a bit odd, but it’s one of the reasons the food is SO much cheaper!  Plus, when you return your cart at the end of your trip, you get your quarter back.  I totally should have made some football pun with that comment…
  2. You’ll also want to bring your own reusable bags (or you can buy some there).  After you check out, you’ll pack your own groceries in those bags, which is just another way they can offer low prices!  Thirty One has some AMAZING totes that can fit a ton of food!! (affiliate link!)
